Q: When will the 2010 Camaros be on the lots?
Hey guys, just wondering when do you think the base v6 model of the 2010 Camaro will be available on lots? I know Chevy is accepting pre-orders, and they’ve had like some 12,000 orders. I obviously haven’t pre-ordered(and won’t), but i was wondering when they will be available at the dealerships?
Thanks in advance
A: late april , early may
Q: Where do I go to Find out abour Camaros!?
Where would I go to find everything i want to know abour camaros?
Please help!
A: www.camaros.net
www.nastyz28.com
www.thirdgen.org
www.camaroz28.com
www.f-body.org
http://www.chevroletfbodies.com/
There was 4 gen of camaros
1967-69 1st gen
70-81 second gen
82-92 third gen
93-02 4th gen
Q: is the 6 speed transmissions that chevy put into the camaros 93-02 a t56 transmission?
is the 6 speed transmissions that chevy put into the camaros 93-02 a t56 transmission?
A: yes, the t56 is also in the trans ams and corvettes
Q: out of all the 90s camaros/firebirds which year do you think would be best in reliability?
i want to get one even tho i hear about problems every now and then, but i wouldnt mind doing work on it i just dnt want to have to replace everything in it . nd no i will not consider a ford mustink (mustang) instead.
A: If you’re looking for a Z28, I would say you can’t go wrong with any of the TPI 3rd gen cars or something newer. The problem with a 3rd gen is finding one in decent condition.
The 93-97 LT1 cars have the opti-spark issue as mentioned before, but that wouldn’t scare me away. The LT! is a nice power plant stock, and upgrades are plenty.
The 98-02 is the top dog. The LS1 is the most powerful of the bunch, and there are many speed parts available for them. These will obviously cost more because of there age, but it will probably be the easiest to find a decent one.
All of the Z28’s get reasonable fuel economy believe it or not. I would estimate 17 city 23 highway if you drive sensibly.
If you’re looking for a 6 cylinder car, I’d hold out for a 98-02 with the 3.8L.
Q: Do the 2002 Camaros need a special box for subs?
Im trying to put some subs in my trunk and the trunk is shaped a lil weird and was wondering if i needed a special made box.
A: Yes,they are made to fit in the deep storage area in the rear.If your car has T-tops you will lose your storage for them. rtboxes.com is the website.
Q: How many 1999 chevrolet camaros were produced in 1999?
A: 1999
Z28 was the racing choice for 1999. 50 identical Z28s were chosen for driver introductions at the Indy 500® and the Brickyard 400®. Hugger Orange, Bright Blue Metallic and Pewter Metallic were new on the color palette. Minor improvements included a larger gas tank than the ‘98 model and Traction Control available on all ‘99 models. 42,098 Camaros were produced.
Q: How many new 2010 Chevrolet Camaros have been wrecked so far?
I would look, but if I do, I won’t sleep tonight.

A: its not the car fault if somebody wrecks, its the person thats driving the car. so if i was you i wouldnt be worry
Q: How many camaros and firebirds were made from 1998-2002?
A: A librarian could probably help you find out this answer.
Q: does anyone know when they are going to release the new chevy camaros?
i want to get one but i don’t know when they come out.
A: We start ordering the cars next month and we are being told to expect delivery some time in February of 2009.

Q: Are the new camaros going to be good cars?
i am seriously thinking about getting a new camaro. but i dont know much about the company that makes them.. i really like the design of the car its just that i dont know how long it will last before it breaks down if it dependable or not.. i really need opions please. and does it come out 2009 or 2010
A: It comes out in ‘09, probably as a 2010 model. All Chevy Camaros will have at least a 3 year / 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.
If you’re wanting a car with the reliablility of a Camry or an Accord, then you’re probably looking at the wrong type of car entirely. Most people buying a Camaro aren’t buying them with the intention of driving them year-round for 15 years and 225,000 miles while watching them rust away into oblivion.
Sports cars aren’t typically as reliable as family sedans no matter who makes them. Most people would drive a Camaro harder than a Camry. I know I would. Why get a “sports car” if you’re not going to drive it fast once in a while? The downside is the harder you drive something, the less time it typically lasts.
That being said most new cars are very reliable, especially in comparison to cars of just 10 years ago. You shouldn’t have any major reliablity problems with a Camaro (or any other car in that price-range) as long as you keep up with regularly scheduled maintenance items.
Q: Why are some cars with 3800 motors faster(Camaros, Impalas) and others slower(Park Avenues, Bonnevilles)?
Even after adding a Supercharger the difference still remains…What causes the difference, is it in their Trannys? Their pulleys? ratios?
A: transmission and final drive ratios are different as well as the weight of the car play a huge role at determining which car is faster.
Q: Of all the third generation Chevy Camaros(1982-1992) made, what percentage of them were painted red?
A: 18.7%
Q: Where are the new Camaros going to be made?
I heard GM had picked a country other than the U.S. to make the new Camaros. Is this true?
A: Oshawa Ontario – the plant that currently makes the Impala, Grand Prix and Buick Lacrosse (W-Car Platform). It is one of GM’s highest quality/efficient plants in North America. Oshawa is also has one of the plants that produces the new pick up trucks.
BTW – the previous generation was also made in Canada – Ste Therese Quebec.
Q: Cars similar to trans ams and camaros?
Im looking to buy a fast little car and ive already looked at camaros and trans ams. ive also looked at firebirds. Any other suggestions for cars similar to this would be greatly appreciated. Im trying to stay under a 6000 dollar budget as as well.
A: If you want a similar V8 its the corvette same engine same parts the old ones at least. Mustang I don’t like em you might. A car that wont get left behind but hard to find RX-7,Supra,300ZX,3000gt,Stealth twin turbo ones though. hmmmm can’t say any other good ones good luck
