Can’t corner? Compared to what? Yes a Porsche will out corner the Challenger. The other two comparable cars can beat the Challenger in nearly every standard performance test EXCEPT cornering!

Mustangs? Like Cheerleaders, every teen with a paper-route has had one! Precisely why I don’t. I did own a 65 convertible for three days though.

Camaro? Little harder to Dis, just a little too angular. It was pure aesthetics for me. If it had looked closer to my old 69 (Darn it, not a SS but a 6!) it would have been a tougher choice.

its a sports car= high insuance rates
your young= higher intrest rates
it doesnt exactly sip gas= gas cost
the car is reletivly new therefore hard to find repairs/technitions=higher intrest rates
the property tax is outradous
they arent safe=higher intrest rates
then comes school, people will think you are a ric snob

dude get a cheap car like a dodge neon or heck the nissan maxima is fast and safe and cheaper

A: 1970 was its first year.

Now, depending on the car, 1970 model year probably started selling in 1969, so mass production would have begun sometime in the late spring or during the summer of ‘69.

For 2010, the Dodge Challenger SE now comes with a five-speed automatic as well as stability control. A new Super Track Pack option (late availability) adds improved handling, and two historic Challenger colors, Detonator Yellow and Plum Crazy, are also on the docket.

Q: what would you but a rather buy, a v6 dodge challenger or a turbo genesis coupe?
this will be my car for school and i want something that will be cool but my mom can drive for a year or so. I like the way the challenger looks but reliability of it isn’t so great. the genesis coupe is not so much as of looks but it will be a better car

A: I would recommend the Genesis. The Challenger looks really cool, but it is just too heavy for its own good when it comes to performance, especially with a 6 cylinder engine. It is also pretty big, so it might turn into a nuisance when trying to fit in a tight parking spot, or taking a sharp corner.
The Genesis is more practical car, will probably be more reliable, and will get better gas mileage. If you care about performance, you should opt for the V-6 engine, which is more powerful than the turbocharged 4 cylinder, and the difference in gas mileage isnt that bad.

Q: Should i get a 2008 Dodge Challenger or is there a better choice for a car? If so can you tell me.?
I was just woundering because i got my drivers and i want a good cool car.

A: get something cheap and not brand new as your first car…that way if you do hit something you wont be totally pissed and neither will your parents. Even if i had hundreds of thousands to spend i still would not buy my kids a brand new car as soon as they got their license

Level8 – Its big and fat, the interior bits are cheap, the transmission is ancient and (at times) seems possessed. But it DOES look nice. But for the price of the SRT8, my money is better spent elsewhere.

Q: Are there 2 editions of the srt dodge challenger?
Ok so mu brother swears that there two srt editions of the challenger. he says theres an srt challenger with a v8 and 425 hp. Then theres the SRT8 which has over 500+ hp with a v12. Im trying to tell him theres only one srt. Can someone tell me whos right?

A: Dodge does not produce a v-12. Look it up on their website. www.dodge.com

You can only get a v6 and a two different v-8’s in the challenger.

Also not sure why Dodge man said charger, you were not asking about that. Though there is no v-12 for the charger either.

It would be a lease but would insurance be outrageous and what are some pros and cons of the car? I also like the Scion tc and Mazda 3.

A: mustang all the way, because you can’t afford a camero or challenger because dodge put a hefty price tag on them thinking there great! mustangs are middle class and low mid class person car, kind of cheap but still on the same level of the camero and challenger! plus the mustang always looks better than the bulky, hefty looking dodges! mustangs have always been america’s true muscle car and as out sold dodge’s camero and challeger!

A: ALOT. And it wont work like a factory drop top, it will have much higher risk of leaking and also wont pass safety regulations if it’s not done properly. If you were looking at getting it done properly. I would say it’s probably going to run you around $15,000 (USD)

Oh not to mention your destroying the value of the car. Hacked up cars are not worth as much. Just trade it in when they come out with the convertible edition. (they will. They are competing against the mustang…there will be a convertible)
