i have a bmw x5 and it has the rear view camera bur when i change the gear to (R) it won’t start , only the PDC screen is showing……. can anybody help me ?
A: On the left side of your display, you should see some stuff you can select for turning on/off the camera, and the parking aids. Move the wheel over to it, and press it to turn it on. The owners manual is also a good place to look.

A: If you open the car door, there is a label on the pillar near the lock that shows min and max pressure for your tyres, the lower the pressure, the lower the mpg but the better comfort..

A: Huge difference in sound. Many other sound options including reverb and sound efects, graphic equalizer, along with higher watt output. Well worth the price if you’re inot music. If you’re an AM talk radion kind of person you don;t need it.

A: This can be cheap if you do a lot of the work yourself i.e. sanding if need be and taping the car up yourself then its just a case of getting a pro to do it for you i would say a $400-700 depending on where you take it.

A: Bor the BMW, 93 Octane if available otherwise use 92. If you use regular gas, you engine will knock.

The cap of the brake fluid reservoir has been designed in order to recognize a low fluid level of the hydraulic brake system by triggering a red warning lamp in the instrument cluster. a switch that is attached to this cap could malfunction at high temperatures.

I have a 2002 BMW X5 and the displays on the radio and where the mileage is displayed are fading.
The mileage isn’t bad, but the radio display is patchy and hard to read.
What will need to be done to fix this?

A: If the instrument cluster is the “high” type then it has no replaceable bulb for it is illuminated by LED’s. But you can adjust the luminosity using the switch on the leftmost side of the dashboard (with a left hand drive vehicle). If it is the “low” type then there are replaceable bulbs at the back of the cluster.
LED’s are also the case with the radio (except those with a central video display). So the only alternative is to change the radio (specially if some of the LED’s go missing. Since you failed to mention what kind of radio your car has I can not tell you if the luminosity can be adjusted
(but usually they are not).
Both cluster and radio are costly and the former even needs to be coded if replaced. Labor depends on where you are. l hour for the cluster and radio each would be a fair charge.
